    Enhance reading skills through a creative story project. Each child will increase their decoding abilities through various games and activities customized to their present reading level. They will exercise and solidify phonics skills by creating individual stories incorporating phonograms, vowel teams, etc. ($20 per class, 8 weeks) Optional lunch/games until 1:30 - $10

  • Wed 1:00 - 2:00 (ages 7 - 13)

    Create your own city using knowledge of geometry. We will learn and demonstrate the ability to use various types of lines and angles to build unique worlds and design shops, restaurants, housing, and more! Each child will walk away with a complete city of their own. ($20 per class, all materials included, 8 weeks)

  • Wed 2:00- 3:00 (age 9 - 13)

    Explore literature with friends in this lively old-fashioned book club. As a group we’ll decide on readings, share opinions in writing reflections, and learn how to turn our words into grammatically strong, sparkling sentences. Hands on activities drawing on readings and the groups interests will be incorporated and might include crafts, experiments, or unique foods. ($20 per class, 8 weeks)

  • Fri 1-2 (age 7-13)

    This hands-on class taught by studio owner and art history expert, Dee Dee Cobella, will take students on a creative journey through time. Each week children will wear the hat of artists of a different time period and create a piece corresponding to the art movement of that time. Art analysis, cultural understanding, and personal expression will develop along the way! This class takes place at RPAC studio in Ridgefield. ($25 per class, 6 weeks)

  • Thurs 2:00 - 3:00 (age 7 - 12)

    Looking to help strengthen math skills in a fun way? We’ll break up into individualized groups and play games reinforcing skills in areas pertinent to need. This may include addition/subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, or fractions but is not limited. If your child has an area of need, don’t hesitate to ask! (6 wks, $20 per class)
